I may post occasionally to highlight material being published elsewhere that is likely to be of interest to readers of this site.

Rudy Kraft interview

Back in March, the Grognardia blog published a two-part interview with Rudy Kraft, writer of Snakepipe Hollow (1979, with Greg Stafford), and co-designer of Griffin Mountain (1981, with Jennell Jaquays and Greg Stafford).
It’s a very informative read, and I aspire to including similar interviews on this site, if I can.

Reading Classic RuneQuest

Ludovic Chabant has been working his way through the classic RuneQuest 2nd edition box set, reading it with a modern eye:

An indication of the thorough, forensic approach is that it was only in the fourth post in the series that Ludo actually opened the RuneQuest rulebook and read the first chapter!
The fifth post is a particular treat, as Ludo looks at RQ2’s map of Glorantha, and compares it with others from throughout the history of core Gloranthan RPGs.
Vinga

Dr Nightstone studies Vinga through the ages, how the deity was created and developed across a range of different periods:

Ossi Hiekkala’s art for Lands of RuneQuest: Sartar

Ossi shares some of his art from this excellent new book, and explains a little of his approach:

2026 Greg Stafford Memorial Award for Gloranthan Fandom

The Gloranthan fan community has some very creative people, and it was a joy to give them a platform to come together (and raise money for the charity Médecins Sans Frontières) in the book I published just a couple of months ago, Jonstown Voices. Getting an award for it was definitely the icing on the cake!
